Handball is characterized by team spirit, fight, discipline and psychology. With your current level as our starting point we will focus on developing your individual skills as a player.
In football class we work with different playing styles and try out different roles and positions in the game. You will develop both technical, tactical and physical skills in different ways. If you combine this class with our other football classes, you can enjoy football for more than 10 lessons per week.
Maybe you want to run a faster 5K, or get a better experience with a marathon/half marathon? We run around our cinder track and the beautiful scenery around the school in different terrains and with varying intensity. The classes are for experienced runners as well as beginners with challenges on all levels.
Full Speed! This is where you get to feel the acid burning. The classes consist of different types of HIIT, indoor cycling and boxing training. We promise classes with lots of speed and focus on pulse, power, sweat and positive aggression.
Through yoga we challenge and strengthen your flexibility, balance and core muscles. We focus on the balance between body and mind through exercises, breathing and presence. You get to try different types of yoga
COPS is short for Coordination, Oxygen (fitness), Power (sprint, jump), and Strength. You will be tested in the different disciplines so that you will be able to follow your progress during the course.
Adventure race is a sport with action, sweat and power. You will be challenged personally, physically and not least as a team player. We learn about all the disciplines and put them together in cool races. Adventurerace is about cooperation and communication and everyone can participate.
Badminton & racket sports at VIH focuses on the joy of racket sports. Besides badminton you might try practise squash, tennis, table tennis and alternative forms of racket sports.
Our focus is to improve your individual abilities. We work with your technique, coordination and functional strength to speed up your feet. We will perform tests to let you follow
improvements of your jumping height, technique, speed, strength and fitness. If you combine this course with football in sports block 1, you can practise football 6 times a week.

Develop as a volleyball player! Through varied and inspiring exercises, you will learn to master all elements of the game - both technical and tactical. We enjoy playing beachvolleyball as the weather gets warmer and sunnier.
Would you like to learn the correct strength training techniques and get a more efficient strength training programme?
We dance to great music and smooth rythms. We work on steps and choreographies of various genres. Dance contain cool elements from the streetdance culture - hip hop, funk, house, jump style and modern dancing as well as showdance.
In multisports you get to try out many different sports. We try ball games, fitness and outdoor activities. You will try sports that you have not tried before and you - as part of the student group - will help choose some of the types of sports you would like to try.
We enjoy letting us challenge by the beautiful surroundings of the forest. The natural obstacles on the forest track or the obstacle course requires technique, strength and good fitness. Every obstacle is a personal victory, whether you like scaling hills and gradients, if you like running or riding downhill or if you like the strategic part of the class that requires reading the obstacles correctly.
In cooperation with 2 Danish sports organizations you achieve a certificate as a fitness instructor.
Body & mind is about life style and quality of life. Both body and mind are key in this class as we focus on well-being and wellness. We focus on several activities, e.g. yoga, massage, mindfulness and meditation.
Are we using our full potential? In this class we will focus on this question and analyze how we act when everything goes well or bad. Both with regards to our own individual mentality but also with regards to creating a well-functioning team.
Do you like nature, hiking, hammocking and fire cooking? When you join the outdoor life class, you will be doing both day and overnight trips. We work on theoretical and practical basic skills needed for outdoor activities.
In the music classes you get the opportunity to play in a band, be a lead singer or choir singer and learn to play an instrument. We welcome you, whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician. We promise suitable challenges and learning experiences for everyone who is motivated.
Students attending police prep prepare for the Danish police admission examination.
International class is a unique way to learn about Denmark – Danish language as well as culture. We practise the Danish language and learn about the Danish culture and society. This is a required class, if you are an international student, but Danish students can also choose this class.
Once a week we get together to sing. This class is a very traditional part of the folk high school concept. However, we sing new popular songs and songs of an older date. Radio hit songs and songs that you probably haven't heard before. You are able to suggest your own favourite song and the students always find their common favourite song.
The weekly folk high school classes vary a lot, but the idea behind the class is to give all the students common experience. The form of the classes can be debates/discussions, lectures, different exercises, common activity or something completely different, where all the students come together for a joint experience, challenge or activity.
Part of being at Vejle Sports School is about listening to inspiring and thought-provoking lectures and morning assemblies.
What do you expect from life - and what does life expect from you? DGL stands for "Det gælder livet" which in translation means something like "For your life" or "Your life depends on it". It is a compulsory class, because we believe that it is important to discuss life. We discuss issues that matter.

In football class we work with different playing styles and try out different roles and positions in the game. You will develop both technical, tactical and physical skills in different ways. If you combine this class with our other football classes, you can enjoy football for more than 10 lessons per week.
Bootcamp training is inspired by the American military. It is about challenging yout physical fitness and your explosive endurance through interval- and high intensity training. Prepare for “all-out” intense workouts and high group spirits.
We put together a mix of functional forms of training. We train our muscles and circuit in functional movements with focus on strength, endurance and mobility. E.g. with TRX, core training, redondo balls, foam rollers, barefoot fitness, pilates and dynamic yoga.
Adventure race is a sport with action, sweat and power. You will be challenged personally, physically and not least as a team player. We learn about all the disciplines and put them together in cool races. Adventurerace is about cooperation and communication and everyone can participate.
We create a serious HANG LOOSE atmosphere with lots of cool relaxed vibes from surfing, climbing and yoga.

In crossfitness classes we practise a variety of full-body exercises to improve your core strength and physical fitness. Usually in an intense atmosphere using kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, and lots of verbal motivation.
Do you love energetic music and awesome choerographies? Put a smile on your lip while breaking a sweat! You will be presented with different genres within team training, such as powerdance, step, bodytoning, aerobics, zumba, combat and lots more. We develop choreographies from simple to challenging steps. Your level is our starting point.
Sea kayaking is your chance to get amazing experiences at sea. Our conditions are optimum with Vejle Fjord very close to the school. We practise our technique in the kayak and go on trips with the chance to spot porpoises. Besides, you will become familiar with kayak surfing.
Do you like different challenges in nature? In this class you get to do mountainbiking, orienteering, inline skating, shooting, winter bathing, duathlon, OCR and cross-country skiing, weather permitting.
