Yoga - aerial & acro
Through yoga we challenge and strengthen your flexibility, balance and core muscles. We focus on the balance between body and mind through exercises, breathing and presence.
The subject gives you an introduction to the many facets of yoga. We will work with hatha yoga, aerial yoga and acro yoga.
Hatha yoga is the classic type of yoga, which all other yoga types comes from.
Aerial yoga is about exercising in a hammock above the floor to experience how gravity affects the body.
In acro yoga we focus on cooperation and trust. Acro yoga is a combination of acrobatics and yoga where we work together two and two or more to create flow.
Different types of yoga
We will explore the yoga world and experience elements from e.g. yin and yinyasa.

Presence and peace of mind
We work with presence, trust and playfulness in the lessons, when we challenge ourselves on the yoga mat, play with gravity in the hammock and when we use acrobatics as an approach to Yoga.
Yoga is more than physical exercise. At Vejle Sports School we start with a physical approach to Yoga and as the lessons evolve we go deeper into the mental part. Our approach is open and nonreligious. We use meditation as a tool to create balance in a life that sometimes can be stressful and hectic.
Amazing surroundings for Yoga
Our facilities are amazing for Yoga. The indoor yoga hall has a beautiful view to the forest and the school is surrounded by park and forest. When the weather is good we practice yoga outdoor. Sometimes we also use our outdoor pool for SUP Yoga.
