Weekend trip

Black Fiord

If you are ready to push your boundaries. Sign up when you are at the school.

BLACK FIORD

Are you ready to challenge yourself both physically and mentally?

Are you ready to be pushed to the limit, to see how far the body – and the mind can go?

Then Black Fjord is just the thing for you. Regrets may challenge along the way, but once you finish the feeling of victory and satisfaction will dominate.

EXPLORE YOUR LIMIT

Over several days, you will be challenged with lack of sleep, exposure to cold and your basic need for food. You will be tired, wet, dirty and cold. Through hardships on varying parameters, you explore your individual limits and learn to handle extreme situations and thus develop resilience.

We will focus on stress management, including how to control your breathing under pressure and how to keep up your spirits when they slowly disappear. You will learn about positive mentality vs. negative self-talk.

Part of the trip is about how the group communicates together, and it requires a joint effort to keep the courage up. Cooperation, trust and teamwork is put to the test in order to succeed.

YOUR PHYSICAL SHAPE WILL NOT DECIDE YOU SUCCESS

The trip will be physically challenging and requires a certain basic physical shape from the participant. However, it is not about being able to bench 100 kilos or run 5k in 18 minutes, but rather about the ability not to give up when others would say stop.

Are you ready to give it everything you’ve got?

Get special ties

When you join Sort Fjord your identity as a student ceases and your foundation is torn away. When you can’t keep your facade anymore, your “deeper self” appears, and this will always generate personal development – in a test designed to push you to the limit.

You will share strong memories and experiences with the people who join Black Fjord. For the rest of your stay at the school you will have made special ties and see each other in a slightly different light because of the things you have been through together.

Former participant

Black Fjord is some of the hardest things I have put myself through, but also one of the best experiences I have had during my stay. You push yourself in ways you didn’t think was possible and you get to know yourself physically and mentally.
