Mountainbiking and trailsurfing

Do you love technical climbs or fast descents? Do you have the courage to challenge your technique and maybe your limits? You can do much more on a MTB than most people are aware of. At Vejle Sports School, you learn basic techniques around e.g. gear change, braking technique, cornering technique etc. We implement all these techniques in the terrain around the school, where you will find passages at all levels of difficulty. In addition, we do different types of interval training and go for longer trips on our bikes.

MOUNTAIN BIKE - ADRENALINE AND FITNESS!

We challenge ourselves on the mountain bikes around the hilly forest terrain that surrounds the school. You will become familiar with the bike and develop basic riding techniques. The school provides mountain bikes and helmets if you do not have one yourself. We guarantee technical ascents/descents, speed and lots of adrenaline.

BALANCE AND RIDING TECHNIQUE ON A MOUNTAIN BIKE

You work on your balance and basic driving techniques such as changing gears optimally, braking most appropriately and attacking corners in the right way. Once you have nailed these techniques, we go further to develop your technique.

MOUNTAIN BIKE - STEEP TERRAIN IN VEJLE

You get the change to challenge yourselves with steeper descents - possibly with drops and jumps, that will pump adrenaline around the body. Gradually, we cope with steeper and steeper climbs feeling the lactic acid build up around the body. There is a lot of focus on technique in this class, but it is also a good workout. We go for longer trips and do interval training - improving our basic fitness. Furthermore, we will focus on maintaining the bikes. It is wearing on the bike equipment to drive around in mud and soil all the time, so the bikes require maintenance and adjustment. Therefore, you learn basic things such as gear adjustment, cleaning, lubrication and, of course, changing tubes/tyres.
